  This park is a gem. We entered at the southern end and took the very hilly, curvy road north. Beautiful rugged scenery of the canyon. The road improves at the halfway point going north, and there are better overlooks at that point. I think the best overlook is the Crows Nest overlook which gives a stunning panoramic view of the canyon and cliffs, although all the overlooks are great. Give yourself some time (2-3 hr minimum) to travel the 25-mi road at a relaxed pace and enjoy the great views.
